Ordered a Craftsman 36 piece driver set from SEARS today. The store was so empty, I can’t believe how vacant it was. I don’t know how they still survive.
Worked on my term paper today, also got to meet up with Chris for coffee and watched True Detective with Chelsea. I really like using papers2 , it helps me organize all my documents for my term paper.
Chelsea and I went to the Fish Market and the local park today and rode on some swings. I haven’t been on swings since elementary school and it was really nostalgic for me.
I officially declared my home lab for my dissertation today. It feels good to know where I’m going to be working for the next 4+ years. It was also the first legitimately nice day out which was nice. I also got to work on my photoshop skills too!
Used some resistance bands today in addition to trying to do T25 in the morning before I went to lab. I felt more awake throughout my day and think I’ll try to make this a habit. I can’t believe it’s already day 100. Where did all the time go?
Made a quick noodle dish with my new obsession, a soft boiled egg. Funny story, I went to go shake up the Sriacha today and forgot to make sure the cap was shut and ended up shaking it all over the kitchen.
I also ran my CCK Elisa today and my standard curve got an R^2=1!!!
Time is running out to finish my term paper that I basically haven’t written yet. Good news is that I got most of the literature research done, now I need to actually write it.
Got a free copy of Cell (peer reviewed scientific journal) today in the mail which was pretty awesome. I hope that my research will get a publication in here some day.
Yesterday I made some steamed buns before dinner to have some pork buns for lunch today. I marinated the pork belly with sugar and salt and roasted it for some amazing pork buns a la momofuku!
Finally got my bluray copy of BBC’s planet earth from Amazon.co.uk today. We also went and had a family dinner at Maggiano’s where it was nice to catch up with the family. After dinner I watched the first episode of Planet Earth with my parents and brother.
